A plain-English summary of how partnering with Home for Mum works. This summary is for convenience; the full Care Home Referral Agreement governs the relationship and is shared when you register. Last updated: June 2026.
Free to join
There is no joining fee, subscription, or listing charge. You only ever pay when a family we introduce actually moves in.
Introductions & notice
When we introduce a family, we register the introduction with you. If you don't raise an issue within 3 working days, the introduction is taken as accepted.
Non-exclusive
You're free to work with other services and to fill beds however you like. We don't ask for exclusivity.
Keep your details current
You agree to keep your availability, fees and details broadly up to date via your listing link, so families get accurate information.
Reporting move-ins
You agree to let us know when a family we introduced moves in, so the fee can be invoiced fairly. We may also confirm move-ins with the family directly.
The finder's fee
When a resident we introduced moves into your home, a one-off finder's fee becomes due (equivalent to 80% of the first month's fees, as set out in the full agreement). No placement, no fee.
Leaving
You can ask us to pause or remove your listing at any time. Fees already due for families who have moved in remain payable.
